AF046 The very elaborate ribbing of this fan is made of bone, nicely worked, decorated and lacquered by hand. The double cotton leaf features, on the recto, a beautiful painting representing a pastoral scene, and on the verso, a complementary painting representing a landscape with a tree. The size of the unfold fan is about 46 by 24.5 cm (18 by 9 1/2 inches), and when closed it is 24.5 cm (9 1/2 inches) long. |
