This is a brisé fan made of ebony, beautifully carved,
decorated and lacquered by hand. The painting represents
a pastoral scene. The size of the unfold fan is about 33
by 18 cm (13 by 7 ¼ inches),
and when closed it is 18 cm (7 ¼
inches) long.
